Jeremy Monteiro (pianist, vocalist, composer, jazz educator) has won critical acclaim in many parts of the world. He has performed all over the World in addition to numerous occasions at home in Singapore, where he has been dubbed “Singapore’s King Of Swing” by the local press.

He has served as artistic director of the Singapore International Jazz Festival in 2001 and the Kuala Lumpur International Jazz Festival in 2012

In November 2006, he became a Fellow of the London College of Music which is part of the University of West London in the UK.
 On 12th October 2006, Jeremy Monteiro was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of the Arts, Manufactures & Commerce in the UK (the RSA). Current Fellows of the RSA include Stephen Hawking. Past Fellows of the RSA include Benjamin Franklin, Charles Dickens, Gugliemo Marconi Yehudi Menuhin and Nelson Mandela.

In October 2016, he helped establish the Jazz Association (Singapore) Limited, to promote and encourage young musicians who are interested in playing Jazz. The Association also hopes to become a centre of excellence in Jazz.

Bassist/composer Jay Anderson is among the most versatile and respected jazz artists performing today. He has performed/recorded with a wide range of jazz artists including Woody Herman, Carmen McRae, Michael Brecker, Paul Bley, Bob Mintzer, John Abercrombie, Dave Liebman, Joe Sample, Maria Schneider, Stanley Cowell, John Scofield, Lee Konitz, Vic Juris, Red Rodney, Ira Sullivan, Mike Stern, Anat Cohen, Toots Thielemans, Kenny Wheeler, Jay Clayton and non-jazz artists like Oswaldo Golijov, Dawn Upshaw, The Australian Chamber Orchestra, Robert Spano (Atlanta Symphony), Michael Franks, David Bowie, Frank Zappa, Tom Waits, Terre Roche, Chaka Khan, Michel Legrand, Allen Ginsberg, and Celine Dion. He has been featured on over 400 recordings, seven of which have received the Grammy Award. He has conducted clinics around the world and is a Professor of Jazz Bass Studies at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Jay currently co-leads the critically acclaimed group BANN featuring Seamus Blake, Oz Noy and Adam Nussbaum.

Lewis Nash’s impressive discography of nearly 500 recordings includes performances on 10 Grammy award-winning albums and numerous Grammy nominees. He has recorded with jazz legends Dizzy Gillespie, Oscar Peterson, Benny Carter, Hank Jones, Gerald Wilson, Ray Brown, Cedar Walton, Horace Silver and McCoy Tyner, as well as more recent jazz stars Wynton Marsalis, Diana Krall, Regina Carter, Joe Lovano and Roy Hargrove. Demonstrating his stylistic diversity, Nash is also featured on recordings by Willie Nelson, Natalie Cole, Bette Midler, Nancy Wilson, Kenny Rankin, Queen Latifah, Melissa Manchester, George Michael, Joe Pesci and Linda Rondstadt. In April of 2012, Jazz in Arizona, a nonprofit jazz-support organization, opened The Nash, a new jazz education and performance venue honoring his legacy. Located in the heart of downtown Phoenix on “Roosevelt Row,” The Nash hosts classic jazz and new music concerts; performances by student musicians, local pros and touring artists; weekly jazz jam sessions, workshops, masterclasses, and clinics.  In its 5 years of existence, The Nash has become the focal point and heartbeat of the Phoenix jazz community.
