Jazz at Lincoln Center announced the lineup for the inaugural edition of its Unity Festival, held January 12-13, 2024, at three venues at its facilities at Columbus Circle in New York City.
Fifteen acts will perform over those two days at Dizzy’s, the Appel Room and the Ertegun Atrium. Among the performers scheduled to appear at the Unity Festival are: Chief Adjuah, Endea Owens, William Parker, Linda May Han Oh, Ambrose Akinmusire, Ekep Nkwelle and many others.
The festival will also showcase artists on the Blue Engine record label, including sets from trumpet player and composer Summer Camargo, saxophonist 8347, and American Pianists Association award and fellowship winnner Isaiah J. Thompson. (See complete schedule below.)
The festival follows the Jazz Congress conference held on Thursday, January 11 at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
