Every Sunday, my beautiful Bride & I celebrate our love by listening to jazz together. We’ve continued this tradition from many years ago when I began to court her, to present day in which we are happily married.
She’s deployed right now, and this song softly played for us while I gazed at her beauty via FaceTime. She was so busy discussing our future goals with vibrancy, that I took that moment for myself just to watch her. I receive cursive penmanship letters from her weekly, as if we are a 1940’s Army family. While the song played, I couldn’t help but think of how grateful I am to have been born in an era in which I can “see” her daily, although it wouldn’t matter if I couldn’t. She’s just that special to me. I can’t wait for her to be in my arms again just so I can caress her sweet neck with my kiss as we dance together again for our lifetime as one.❤️
All of me
Why not take all of me
Can’t you see
I’m no good without you
Take my lips
I want to lose them
Take my arms
I never use them
Your goodbye
Left me with eyes that cry
How can I go on dear without you
You took the part
That once was my heart
So why not take all of me
All of me
Why not take all of me
Can’t you see
I’m no good without you
Take my lips
I want to lose them
Take my arms I never use them
Your goodbye
Left me with eyes that cry
How can I go on dear without you
You took the best
So why not take the rest
Baby take all of me
